Today is Hema Malini’s 60th birthday. Her admirers all over the country expect her to continue the good work which she had done for the last 40 years. Besides she was a brilliant dancer, and songs of notable films in the 70s, are remembered only for her extraordinary dance performances, including the song “jab tak hai jaan” in the film Sholay in 1975, “meethe bol bole” in Kinara, in 1978, “zindagi hai khel” in Seeta Aur Geeta, in 1972, to name a few. She was blessed with some outstanding songs of Lata, Suman Kalyanpur and other singers during her career including songs like “dil use do jo jaan dede”, “naam gum jayega”, “ek ladka mujhe kal raat”, etc.
The big achievement of Hema Malini lies in maintaining her glamour all through her career. She even impressed the viewers with her character performances in films like Baghban, opposite Big B.
