Priyanka Chopra won the award for the best actress in Lux Sabse Favourite Kaun award. She had continued the dream run that she started in 2008. She received the award for her brilliant performance in the film Kaminey. She won the award against the other nominees like Kareena Kapoor in Kambakht Ishq, and Katrina Kaif in Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani.

Akshay Kumar won the award for the best actor in Lux Sabse Favourite Kaun award. He won the award against the other nominees like Salman Khan in Wanted, Amir Khan in Ghajini, Shahrukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, etc. He won the award for his sheer hard work. The viewers liked him inspite of his films Chandi Chowk to China, Kambakht Ishq, Blue, not doing good business in 2009.

Sanjay Dutt won the award for the best comedian (male) for his hilarious performance in the film All the Best. Divya Dutta won the same award in the female category for her comedy performance in the film Saajan Chale Sajjanpur. The film Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani won the award for the best film. Raj Kumar Santoshi, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and the entire team of the film should be proud about it.

Hrithik Roshan won the style icon (male) award. There is no doubt that he is probably the most stylish actor in the industry. Bipasha Basu won the most fit actress award while Shahid Kapoor won the most fit actor award.

Priyanka Chopra won the award for the most favourite ada, as against Lara Dutta, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai. She is really having a fabulous year.

But the filmfare awards in 2010 may show different winners as few hit films had just been released and are yet to be released like Amir Khan’s The 3 idiots, Salman Khan’s Veer and Shahrukh Khan’s My name is Khan. But there is no doubt that Priyanka Chopra is still dominating bollywood films in 2010.

Priyanka Chopra was absolutely amazing while playing the girls of 12 rashees in the film What’ Your Rashee. The movie contained 12 character of 12 different Rashee(zodiac sign) and 1 eligible bachelor. Harman Baweja as Yogesh Kumar Patel was an eligible bachelor working as a waiter in Chicago University and doing MBA. He was also a dj at night bars.

He was called to India out of the blue and was to be married in a matter of days, the reason being that his maternal grandfather on his marriage would be bestowing him 30 crores worth of property and his family need this to survive ruin- their elder son Jeetu (Dilip Joshi) having borrowed and squandered 4 crores of wealth including 1.5 crores of wealth from a local underworld don Moolraj (Yuri) and now running the risk of facing a prison sentence. Yogesh's father's brother Debu (Darshan Jariwala) took charge of showing him the eligible girls. But Yogesh after reading a book on sun signs insisted on seeing only 12 girls, one from each Raashee and then decide whom to marry.

In reality there was 12 different girls from 12 different zodiac signs played by Priyanka Chopra. Two days before the marriage Yogesh was unable to decide the perfect woman for him. He got confused about Sanjana and Hansa, as he liked both of them. In between the don pressurized his family and his parents pressurized him. At the wedding Debu uncle came with a girl and yogesh was confused about the girl and her rashee(zodiac). Ultimately Yogesh got married with Sanjana (aquarian girl) and his Debu uncle revealed the truth that 2days ago. Sanjana was dumped by her boyfriend and she made her decision changed and said yes to marry Yogesh.

Priyanka showed 12 different characters right from docile, soft feminine characteristics to aggressive characteristics. Ashutosh Gowarikar had utilized the talent of Priyanka Chopra to its full potential. This will remain as one of the greatest work of Priyanka Chopra till now.

The viewers of bollywood films have a lot of expectation from the film Pyar Impossible. The film had been written and produced by Uday Chopra.

It has been an adaptation of the British film Notting Hill, in which Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant gave brilliant performances. The main reason for the attraction to the crowds is obviously the presence of Priyanka Chopra.

In this film Priyanka Chopra had acted opposite Uday Chopra and Dino Morea. Priyanka Chopra had given hits after hits in the last 2 years and had been used by different directors including Rakesh Roshan, Madhur Bhandarkar, etc. So her presence had added colour in the film.

The story of the film was related to the love story of Priyanka Chopra with her lover boy. The other factor which had raised a lot of curiousity in the minds of the viewers which include the presence of the director Jugal Hansraj, who tried to direct the film in his own style.

It had been produced by Uday Chopra and the music had been composed by Salim Sulaiman. The only worry is in terms of viewers indifference towards love stories. If we look back at the hit films in the last 3 years, we will find that most of them having stories involving laughter had done better business than the other ones.

Munnabhai MBBS, No Entry, did great business while Love Story 2050, Chandni Chowk To China did very average business. It is difficult to predict the success of the film. If it does moderate business it is more than enough.

Priyanka Chopra had appeared again in the new film What’s Your Rashi opposite Harman Baweja this year. The film was based on the Gujrati Novel “Kimbal Ravenswood” written by Madhu Rye.

Harman Baweja had played the role of a Gujrati person who had to find a dream girl within 10 days to save his family from an unforeseen harm which had been predicted. The task was difficult as such. She met twelve different girls who had twelve different sun signs or rashis.

Priyanka Chopra played the role of all the twelve girls having the different sun signs. The girls that Harman Baweja met included Anjali, who had Aries sun shine, Vishakha, who had Tauras sun shine, Kajal, who had Gemini sun shine, Hansa who had Cancer sun shine, Mallika who had Leo sun shine, Pooja, who had Virgo sun shine, Rajni, who had Libra sunshine, Nandini, who had scorpio sun shine, Bhavna, who had Saggitarius sun shine, Jhankhana, who had Capricorn sun shine, Sanjana, who had Aquarius sun shine and Chandrika who had Pieces sun shine.

Priyanka Chopra was brilliant in all those roles. Although the story appeared to be very serious in nature it ended up being absolutely hilarious. Harman Baweja also did well, but his resemblance with Hrithik Roshan was still reflected in this films. Unless he could create his own identity his effort would never get right acknowledgement.

The film had been directed Ashutosh Gowarikar. He used Anjan Srivastava, Rajesh Vivek and the other actors to perfection. The song “bhikri bhikri” had already become popular. But the film does not have the expectation of becoming a grand it like that of Lagaan or Jodha Akbar.

As long as the cost of production of the film is recovered Ashutosh Gowarikar’s effort will be justified.

In 2009, her film Kambakht Ishq opposite Akshay Kumar did medium business. But she has two mega releases for which the viewers are awaiting anxiously. One is Mai and Mrs Khanna opposite Salman Khan. But her performance in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion appealed before the commercial audience as well as the critics. But things change a lot in a year or so in bollywood films.

None of her films were released in 2009, before Kaminey. In 5 or 6 months the viewers forget the good work of the number one actress of the previous year and look for a new actress to fill the number one slot. In that respect Priyanka Chopra’s challenge to maintain the number one spot is great.

In Kaminey, she had acted opposite Shahid Kapoor who had played a double role. One of the twin brothers were involved in unlawful activities while the other was happy doing corporate job. Lara Dutta is perhaps one of the most underrated actress of bollywood films in recent years. She possessed same amount of talent like that of Priyanka Chopra, yet could not attain the level that Priyanka attained within the short time.

She started her career with Priyanka and Akshay Kumar in Andaz and showed a lot of promise. But after doing great job in films like Bardasht opposite Bobby Deol, Zinda opposite Sanjay Dutt, Bombai Se Aya Mera Dost with Abhishek Bacchan, some way or the other lost focus.

She was also not as lucky in respect of bagging important roles like Priyanka Chopra. She showed her standard of smartness and comedy instincts in films like No Entry and Partner.

No Entry is probably one of the greatest hits of Lara Dutta till now. She balanced the comedy instincts of Anil Kapoor and did outcast Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitley and Esha Deol in the film. Her lips in the main songs in the film were also appreciated.

She was sublime in Partner opposite Salman Khan. Her lips in the songs “maria maria” and others did attract the viewers. Her acting was equally realistic. In 2009, she even showed her daring nature in accepting a role of village girl opposite Irfan Khan in the film Billu Barber. She acted hardly without any make up and brought out the innocence of a village girl in the film.

The big question lies in the minds of people whether Lara Dutta can get her stardom back with her performance in the film Blue. 2009 had been a very busy year for Kangana Ranaut. She did a marvelous job in the film Raaz – the mystery continues. That film started the series of horror films in bollywood in 2009. She played the role of a girl who was suffering from diseased due to the unsatisfied soul of Jackie Shroff being there in her body. Jackie had died and wanted to let the world know about the cause of his death. At the same time Imraan Hashmi knew about the entire thing. He was a painter and whatever was supposed to occur in future used to come in his mind and he used to paint it. At the end of the film Kangana was successful in letting the world know about the truth relating to murder of Jackie.

Kangana Ranaut was appreciated for her bold performance in the films Gangster and Life in a Metro. In fact she won the filmfare award for the best debutant for her performance in the film Gangster. Those films did fantastic business in India and the overseas market.

In 2009, Kangana’s three films will be released including Roshan, Kites and Happy New Year. Already Kites had created new much before its release. Barbara Mori, the bold actress in the film already entered into an affair with Hrithik Roshan for which the media became very curious. It was even published that the relationship of Hrithik Roshan with his wife became worst due to those events.

The film had a romantic story and Isha Kopikaar’s onscreen chemistry with Sohail Khan always haunted the viewers. Hrithik Roshan won the IIFA award for the best actor for his performance in the film Jodha Akbar. He deserved it and viewers are happy that IIFA had acknowledged it. He won the filmfare award for the best actor also for the performance in the same film earlier this year. Ashutosh Gowarikar won the IIFA award for the best director for the direction of the film Jodha Akbar. He received the filmfare award for the best director too earlier this year. Films like Jodha Akbar require lot of hardwork, sincerity and monumental task with cast and crew. It is good that his immense dedication was rewarded.

Priyanka Chopra won the IIFA award for the best actress for the performance in the film Fashion. Shreya Ghoshal won the IIFA award for the best female singer for the song “teri ore teri ore” from Singh is Kinng. Javed Ali won the IIFA award for the best male singer for his song “jashne-bahara” from the film Jodha Akbar.

Javed Akhtar also won the best lyricist award for the lyrics written for songs in the film Jodha Akbar. AR Rehman won the best composer award for his music composition in the film Jodha Akbar. Kangana Ranaut won the best supporting actress award for her performance in the film Fashion. Rajesh Khanna won the lifetime achievement award at the IIFA.

Shahrukh Khan won the male star of the decade award, while Aishwarya Rai won the female star of the decade award. Abhishek Bacchan won the best comedian award for his performance in the film Dostana, while Akshay Khanna won the best villain award for his performance in the film Race.

With few exceptions almost the same recipients of filmfare awards won the IIFA awards. Some of the good work again got unnoticed, for example, for example Pritam’s music in Sinng is Kinng, Vishal Shekhar’s music in Dostana, Amir Khan’s superlative performance in Ghajini.

But again best debutant awards for Farhan Akhtar in the male category ( for Luck by Chance) and Asin in the female category (for Ghajini), are encouraging signs. IIFA should start second best performance awards for all categories to encourage better performances of all the performers in bollywood industry.

The viewers of bollywood films had witnessed probably the biggest form of multi-starrer film in the form of Salaam-e –Ishq. Multi-starrer films generally used to be considered as films having two or more actors or actresses. Salaam –e-Ishq had much more number of performers than two or three.

Salman Khan was paired with Priyanka Chopra with the character Rahul. Priyanka Chopra was an aspiring actress. She required a scandal which could create her fame. After that she would have got the scope of acting in Karan Johar’s film. Salman Khan artificially created the love story between him and Priyanka Chopra and made the fans realize that he had an affair with the star and then left her. By the time the playacting was over, Priyanka Chopra fell in love with Salman Khan.

Vidya Balan lost her memory after meeting with an accident and never recognized her husband John Abraham. John’s parents never accepted Tehzeeb, the character of Vidya Balan as she was a muslim. At the end of the film both of them agreed to live with each other inspite of failing to retain her memory. Govinda, the tax-driver in the film fell in love with an American woman who travelled in his taxi. She came to marry her Indian boyfriend but realized that he had married an Indian woman.

Sohail Khan and Isha Kopikaar’s love story showed semi-rural form of romance. Every time they came close to each other they faced obstacle in form or the other. Akshay Khanna declined to marry Ayesha Takia at the beginning of the film, to avoid the responsibilities of married life. After he realized that it was his wrong conception he agreed to marry her. Anil Kapoor, a middle-aged person got attached with a young dance teacher. His closeness with the dance teacher created distance with his wife Juhi Chawla. At the end of the film the relation was revived after Anil Kapoor repented for his wrongdoing.

The biggest asset of the film included its music composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. The songs “yah rabba, de de koi pyar bhi agar” sung by Kailash Kher, “tenu le” and “teri ankho ki mastani kajal jo mera salaam” sung by Sonu Nigam stormed bollywood after the release of the film. In fact all the songs were extremely successful.

The other factor which was new was the acceptance of six romantic stories of six heroes and heroines together. The exotic locations used in the film also require special mention. Film makers should get inspired by films like Salaam-e-ishq to make similar types of entertaining films in future.

She acted in different types of films all along the year and had remained the most popular face in the entire year. Her films of the last year include God Tussi Great Ho, opposite Salman Khan, Fashion, Chamku opposite Bobby Deol, Dostana opposite John Abraham and Abhishek Bacchan, Love Story 2050 opposite Harman Baweja, to name a few.

The films got mixed responses from the audience. Dostana was super hit. Chamku and God Tussi Great Ho did mediocre business. Love Story 2050 ended up being flop. In fact Priyanka Chopra would have lost the number one spot for the film Love Story 2050. But the success of the off-beat film Fashion had helped him to maintain the stardom.

She got the filmfare award for the best actress of 2008, due to her brilliant performance in the film Fashion. Madhur Bhandarkar had shown the struggle of a girl who came from New Delhi to build her career in the fashion world. The fashion industry had always remained cruel towards new entrants. The successful careerists had to do everything for their success, including spending nights with some of the designers and producers of fashion contests.

Vishal Bharadwaj had addressed the viewers of bollywood films with his new film Kaminey after some time. It is based on the story of two twin brothers who hate each other.

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra had been cast in the lead roles in the film. Shahid Kapoor played the double roles of Guddu and Charlie. Guddu started his life from the famous slum in Mumbai called Dharavi, but joined a NGO firm. He was honest, generous and hardworking. He had the ambition of crossing the different levels and reaching higher summits in the corporate world.

On the other hand Charlie was involved in betting in the race course. He wanted to climb the ladder of success with a short-cut route. His ambition was to be a legitimate bookie and get recognition. He had the skills for the job and did well.

Both the brothers had defects in their speech. Guddu stammered whenever he was nervous. Charlie also had other kinds of communication problems. Both the brothers hated each other. On one day, Charlie faced a problem with his rival bookies and also was chased by cops.

While Guddu was involved in street play his girlfriend Sweety Bhope came and said that she became pregnant. When he wanted to marry her, he found there was new problem. Her brothers were dons, and chased him for the unfortunate happenings.

It was at that part of the film where the two brothers who hated each other came closer. The performance of Shahid Kapoor in double role was very impressive. Priyanka Chopra was full of energy as usual.

Vishal Bharadwaj’s story and direction has the elements of success. The music also has been given by Vishal Bharadwaj, which was equally impressive. The lyrics are written by Gulzar.

In a nutshell it can be said that the film will be a hit film and viewers should go to the halls and watch the film.

Priyanka Chopra is today’s most popular actress of the bollywood film industry. She had started her career in bollywood films after she won the Miss India contest title. Since then she never looked back. Her first film Andaz opposite Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta did well in the box office. But initially she haven’t got that much recognition, but with the film Mujshe Shaadi Karogi opposite Salman Khan and Akshay kumar , Priyanka Chopra became a leading star of the period.

She had got the grace, glamour and attitude in her which is very much wanted by today’s audience and young crowd. She gave stunning performance in the Fashion and got the filmfare award for the best actress for the year 2009. In between she did perform in many films including God Tussi Great Ho, Chamku , Love story 2050, Dostana and Billu Barber in 2009. Her next upcoming film which is about to be released is titled Kamina opposite Shahid Kapoor.

The big factor which had kept Priyanka Chopra ahead of Lara Dutta, Ash, Katrina and others, include her capability to adapt herself in different roles. Whenever the situation demanded she played the role of an upstart American in the film Dostana. She effortlessly managed the comedy sequences along with Abhishek Bacchan and John Abraham. In the film Love Story 2050, she adjusted herself to the hi-tech world that would have emerged around 40 years from now on.

Her role in God Tussi Great Ho was totally different. There were misunderstandings and traps set by either Sohail Khan or Salman Khan. She faced the events and was firm in her affection towards Salman Khan.

Similarly in Billu Barber, her performance in a dance number opposite Shahrukh Khan requires special mention. In fact she had given elegant lips in the songs “tujhe aksa beach dikhadun”, “salaam-e-ishq”, “tenu le”, etc.

The viewers expect her to continue the brilliant work that she had started in 2008 and do even well in 2009 and the years to come.

The viewers of bollywood films wish happy birthday to successful bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on 20th March, 2009. Kangana Ranaut had created a strong box-office for herself during her short career till now.

Last year when she acted in the film Fashion, she amazed the audience with her powerful performance in a Madhur Bhandarkar film, which had more elements involving reality than larger than life image. The film showed the new entrants in the fashion industry. Priyanka Chopra played the main role in the film who had come from her native town to Mumbai to create her identity in the fashion industry.

Priyanka interacted with Kangana Ranaut in the fashion industry and came to know about her struggle as well. Success in that industry is obtained at the cost of peace, security, happiness. Both Kangana and Priyanka played their part to perfection and created a mark in the minds of intellectual audience. Both Kangana Ranaut and Priyanka Chopra received filmfare awards for their best performance in Fashion as best supporting actress and best actress respectively.

Kangana Ranaut played her role to perfection even in the film Gangster and Life in a Metro. Her performance in Gangster brought her the best debutant award in 2007. In Life in a Metro, she played the role of a girl who could not decide about what to do in a Metro city. She was confused about the boyfriends and could not find out who really wanted her.

She was probably at her best in the film Raaz, the mystery continues opposite Adhyayan Suman and Imraan Hashmi. It has been released in January, 2009 and already done good business in India and abroad. The unsatisfied soul of Jackie Shroff had entered her body, and Imraan Hashmi could see the future events while he did paint Kangana’s face.

At the end of the film, Kangana and Imraan Hashmi went to the place Kalindi, where they unearthed the past events where a chemical plant used to dump its toxic wastes in a sacred lake near a temple. When Jackie Shroff complained about it, he was killed by the gundas sent by the priest. So the unsatisfied soul of Jackie Shroff entered the body of Kangana Ranaut to tell the story to everyone. Kangana again can get nomination for best actress for her horrified performance in the film Raaz –the mysery continues.

The viewers expect her to continue her good work in films like Kite opposite Hrithik Roshan and other films to follow in 2009.

Filmfare awards, 2009, had given scattered review of films. It was not one film which had bagged awards in different categories. Neither the awards could depicts the popular tastes of the viewers.

While Jodha Akbar bagged the award for the best film, best director being Ashutosh Gowarikar and best actor being Hrithik Roshan, no awards were won under the other category. Aishwarya Rai did not get filmfare for best actress for her performance in Jodha Akbar. AR Rehman gave brilliant music in the film and did not get filmfare for Jodha Akbar. Instead he got the award for the film Jane Tu Ya Jane Na. Javed Akhtar got filmfare for best lyricist for Jodha Akbar. But Sonu Nigam did not get filmfare award for best singer for the song he sung in Jodha Akbar.

Fashion bagged few awards for the category of best actress won by Priyanka Chopra and best supporting actress won by Kangana Ranaut. But it did not get filmfare for best music or best direction, etc. There were nominations for the film but it did not end up in awards.

Shreya Ghoshal won the filmfare award for the best female singer for the film Singh is Kinng. The song “teri ore teri ore”. But Pritam, the composer of the same film did not win filmfare award for the music he had composed. On the other hand the combination of AR Rehman with Subhash Ghai and Gulzar in the film Yuvvraaj did not end up fruitfully. Alka Ayagnik got the nomination for the best singer for the song “tu muskura” but the award was eventually won by Shreya Ghoshal.

Amir Khan’s effort in Ghajini went in vain. The film was very successful. Amir Khan’s performance was perhaps one of the best performances of his film career. But Asin won the best female debutant award yet Amir Khan did not get the best actor award. Also Sonu Nigam’s song “hai guzarish” did not win the filmfare for the best singer .

As most of the awards were chosen by the people, the popular tastes could be ascertained from the awards. But in 2009, people had given a scattered verdict.

They have accepted period film like Jodha Akbar, realistic film like Fashion, but could not appreciate refined action film Ghajini. Thriller films like Race also had not been appreciated to any extent. Romantic films like Yuvvraaj had disastrous result. The viewers should be more sensible in their choices in future.

Hrithik Roshan had won the filmfare award for best actor in 2009 for his brilliant performance in the film Jodha Akbar. He won it for the fourth time. He won filmfare award for best actor previously for films like Kahona Pyar Hai, Koi Mil Gaya, Dhoom 2, etc. He had done a brilliant work and deserved the award. But some of the critics raised eyebrows in respect of Amir Khan not getting filmfare award even after brilliant performance in the film Ghajini.

Priyanka Chopra rightly got the best actress award for her brilliant performance in the film Fashion. In fact the team of Fashion won a number of awards. Kangana Ranaut got the filmfare award for best actress for her performance in the film Fashion. Arjun Rampal won the best supporting award for the film Rock On.

AR Rehman again won the award for best composer for the film Jane Tu Ya Jane Na. It was a bit strange. He had given even better music for the film Jodha Akbar, Yuvvraaj and Ghajini. Pritam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Vishal-Shekhar had very bad luck as their music in the films Race, Rock On and Dostana were very popular and entertaining. AR Rehman got it for the 8th time. He is on the way to break Shankar- Jaikishan’s record for winning the filmfare award for 9 times.

Javed Akhtar won the best lyricist award for the lyrics of the song “jashn-e-bahara” from the film Jodha Akbar. Sukhwinder Singh won the best male playback singer unnecessarily for the song “haule haule” from the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Sonu Nigam sang a much better song “in lamhon ke” in the film Jodha Akbar. Similarly Shreya Ghoshal won the best female playback singer award for the song “teri ore” from Singh is Kinng, ahead of Alka Yagnik for the song “tu muskura” in the film Yuvvraaj.

Ashutosh Gowarikar won the best director award for the film Jodha Akbar. Jodha Akbar was even adjudged the best film of the year. Bhanu Attaiya and Om Puri won the lifetime achievement award. Om Puri deserved it 10 years back. Other than Nasirruddin Shah no other had shown the level of verstality that Om Puri had shown in both commercial films and parallel cinema.

Farhan Akhtar won the best male debutant award for the film Rock On. Imran Khan won the same award for the film Jane Tu Ya Jane Na. Asin won the best female debutant award for her performance in the film Ghajini.

Sahana Goswami won the jury award for best actress for the film Rock On. Manjit Singh won the jury award for best actor for the film Oye Lucky Lucky Oye.

It has been seen in the past that Filmfare award has done injustice to many actors actresses composers singers in the past as well. Bhupinder Singh never received any filmfare award for best singer. Madanmohan never received filmfare award for best composer. Dharmender, Jeetender, Rajender Kumar, Pradeep Kumar never received best actor award. Whereas, Shahrukh Khan won the award for 7 times. So it is not surprising that Amir Khan’s brilliant work in Ghajini, Sonu Nigam’ brilliant singing in Jodha Akbar, Alka Yagnik’s brilliant singing in Yuvvraaj, Pritam’s music in Singh is Kinng and Race, went unrewarded. For the winners the awards can give motivation for better work. For others they should concentrate on better work, because filmfare awards are given through public choice and it is not award which is chosen by experts.

Billu Barber is the next project of Shahrukh Khan which will address the audience in February. In 2008, Shahrukh Khan had a bad year as such, probably the worst year in the recent past. None of his films did great business and he could not make his presence felt among hit films of Akshay Kumar like Singh is Kinng or Hrithik Roshan’s Jodha Akbar or Amir Khan’s Ghajini.

He has all the possibilities of regaining his number one spot with the film Billu Barber. The film which is going to be released in February probably has most of the celebrities in one film together. It includes names like Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor to name a few. Even Irfan Khan who makes acting look so easy did a great job.

Shahrukh Khan played the role of the friend of a village barber played by Irfan Khan. Shahrukh Khan returned back to the village for shooting a film. The other actresses in the film like Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra performed with Shahrukh Khan in the village. The moment the story of Irfan Khan’s friendship with Shahrukh Khan spread all across the village, the fellow villagers got excited.

Irfan Khan never had any expectation of Shahrukh Khan being able to recognize him as the status of both the friends was totally different. But Shahrukh Khan surprised everyone when he came for visiting a local school in the village. He disclosed before everyone that Irfan Khan was an old friend of him. Not only that, Irfan Khan had a huge contribution in the life of Shahrukh Khan.

The film ended with a happy note. Lara Dutta played the role of a rustic villager in the film as opposed to the glamourous roles of Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. She hardly took any make up and provided natural performance. Probably her performance was the best amongst the rest of the heroines.

As far as Shahrukh Khan was concerned he had done a great job. He almost lost his no. 1 position to Amir Khan and others due to giving flops one after the other in 2008.

2009 can be the year of comeback of Shahrukh Khan. Once he is involved with big productions and believable stories his larger than life image always haunts the viewers. Other than Salman Khan no other actor had the committed viewers like that of Shahrukh Khan. He was bound to make a comeback. Billu Barber has all the masala to become a blockbuster.
